France opens world’s first solar panel road, but it sure ain’t cheap

The township alleges it’s merely unveiled the world’s first solar array road. The 1 kilometre( 0.6 mile) direction, covered by 2,800 sq. metres of electricity-generating panels, was declared open on Thursday by the country’s ecology minister, Sgolne Royal.
