The US economy added better-than-expected 250,000 jobs in October

Washington( CNN Business) The US economy added 250,000 jobs in October, significantly surpassing expectations, the government announced Friday.

Wages developed 3.1%, relatively robust rise after years of stagnant paychecks.

The amounts afford President Donald Trump and congressional Republican a positive talking level as they head into the midterm elections next Tuesday, even amidst disarray on the major stock exchanges over the past few weeks. During a brief look before heading toward a rallying in West Virginia, Trump said the 250,000 figure was “shocking for a lot of people.”
